- 「monakey」システムをデザインしたJaneStyleの開発者が、すべての専用ブラウザへのAPIへのアクセスをオフにし、権限なしにJaneStyleをサードパーティのサイトに移動させたことにより、一部のユーザーが5chにアクセスできなくなってしまいました。そのサイトは5chとは一切関連がありません。これが、一部のユーザーが本日5chにアクセスできなかった理由です。
5chはあらゆる開発者からAPIへのアクセス権を奪ったわけではありません。まだ理由は明らかでありませんが、JaneStyleの開発者が独断で行動を起こし、5chのユーザーベースの一部を5ch.netから引き離すことを決定しました。これがダウンタイム、混乱、推測を引き起こしました。今日、私たちはこれをAPIの独占を終わらせ、意志のあるすべての開発者にAPIへのアクセスを再度提供する機会に変えるつもりです。
専用ブラウザは再び繁栄することができます。

投稿時の処理が改修されていますので、下記の要項をご確認ください。
1. Cookie の取り扱い
yuki=akari は撤廃されました。
代わりに MonaTicket=_文字列_ が適用されています。
現在、一部の専ブラで Cookie の処理が適切に行われていないケースが見られますので、再度ご確認をお願いいたします。
2. 書き込み確認処理の徹底
書き込み確認の仕組みが厳格化されました。
以前のように承諾ボタンを押さなくても Cookie が発行される仕様は廃止されました。
新たに Cookie を取得する際は、書き込み確認のページを改変せずに正しく表示し、その処理を厳密に行ってください。
詳細については書き込み確認の HTML ソースをご確認ください。
3. MonaKey は廃止されました
X-MonaKey, X-PostSig, X-APIKey, X-PostNonce のリクエストヘッダは不要です。
X-Ronin-Sid は引き続き利用可能ですが、将来的に廃止される可能性があります。
現時点では、以前の Cookie に sid を挿入する方法を推奨します。

専ブラ*は専用ブラウザ（Dedicated Browser）の略称です。

- 荒らし対策として開発されたユーザー参加型の「どんぐりシステム」ですが、近年では大規模な荒らし行為も沈静化しており、
一方で悪質なハンターによる無差別な大砲機能の乱用が見受けられるようになりました。
これらの状況を踏まえ、新たに「どんぐりゲート」を設けることになりました。
「どんぐりゲート」のデフォルト設定は「false」となり、以後、書き込み制限などの機能はサスペンド状態となります。
大砲（キャノン）機能自体は有効のままですが、その効果は該当する書き込み者に「臭」マークを付けるのみとなり、「書き込み禁止」などの規制は行われません。
ただし、引き続き全機能を有効化したい場合は、当該板の SETTING.TXT に以下の1行を追加してください。
BBS_ACORN_GATE=force
また、以下の設定を記述した場合は、その板においてどんぐり機能のすべてが「常に無効」となります。
BBS_ACORN_GATE=false
今後、再び大規模な荒らし行為が発生したと判断された場合には、「どんぐりゲート」の設定が「true」となり、
どんぐり機能が有効なすべての板でその機能が再開されます。
今後とも、より快適で安心して利用できる環境の維持にご協力をお願いいたします。

The user-participation-based "Acorn System" was originally developed as an anti-troll measure, but in recent years, large-scale trolling has subsided.
On the other hand, there have been increasing cases of malicious hunters misusing the cannon feature indiscriminately.
In light of these circumstances, we have decided to introduce a new feature called the "Acorn Gate".
By default, the "Acorn Gate" setting is set to "false", meaning that posting restrictions and similar functions will be suspended.
The cannon feature itself remains active; however, its effect will now be limited to marking the targeted post with a "臭" icon, without imposing any posting bans or other penalties.
If you wish to keep all functions enabled, please add the following line to the board’s SETTING.TXT file:
BBS_ACORN_GATE=force
Adding the following line will instead permanently disable all acorn-related functions on that board:
BBS_ACORN_GATE=false
If large-scale trolling resumes in the future, the "Acorn Gate" setting will be switched to "true",
and the Acorn System will automatically be reactivated across all boards where it is available.

- I'm working on a health tech project and trying to understand what's popular in Japan vs what we use in the West. The Japanese market seems way ahead in some areas but I can't find good info in English.
>What we're using in US/Europe:
Most companies here use basic wearable APIs:
- Terra/Vital/Rook - All pretty similar, just pipe raw health data (steps, heart rate, sleep hours)
- Fitbit/Garmin APIs - Direct integrations
- Recently found Sahha.ai which is different - creates behavioral profiles/personality insights from health data (like "active night owl" or "sedentary / early riser")
>Questions about Japan:
1. What are Japanese health apps using for backend? I see lots of cool apps like Lunaluна, FiNC, but can't figure out their tech stack.
2. Are there Japan-specific health APIs? Something from Rakuten Health or LINE Healthcare? Or do you use Western APIs?
3. How do Japanese users feel about behavioral profiling? In the West, Sahha's personality insights from health data are seen as either creepy or innovative. But Japan seems more open to personality typing (ABO / MBTI and all that).

Also noticed Sahha partnered with Realize Innovations - are they known in Japan? First time seeing behavioral intelligence API in Japanese market.

- Recently, 5ch has been under attack by scripters and spammers. As a counter measure, (and because 5ch management is too retarded to put a CAPTCHA on this site) non-Japanese IPs can no longer post on any board on this site.
Which means boards made for foreigners such as dejima and the embassy ("8") boards have been now rendered useless.
If you wish to post, you can try using Tuxler with the residential VPN mode. You can also try SoftEther VPN Gate and try multiple Japanese IPs until you find one that isn't already banned.
If you wish to have a good experience on 5ch just like that of an ordinary 5ch user that lives in Japan, your only choice is to buy UPLIFT, though.
I don't think most people will want to give money to the terrible owners of this site though.
