These statements are made by Kazuhiko Sato (佐藤一彦), the GUJI (the chief priest of a Shinto shrine) of
Yoshimizu Shrine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshimizu_Shrine ). Yoshimizu Shrine was designated as part of a
UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
The shrine’s blog (https://archive.today/http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/yoshimizushrine/* ) is full of these far right and
racist remarks expressed by Sato. He also is the author of a book titled “A Love Letter to Japan, My Home
Country”, on which PM Shinzo Abe wrote a testimonial (https://archive.today/6wCCV ).
Do you think Yoshimizu Shrine deserve World Heritage status?
