システムの中の値が足りなくなったと。

これは確か「スペシャルセッティング１」で、
loader.conf の中で既に増やしていた気がするので、
システムが言ってきているとおりに値を増やすのがいいのか、
あるいはそうではないのか、まずは調べてみる方向で。

デフォルトは今200で、

「スペシャルセッティング１」ではこの値を、
メモリ4GBytes用のチューニングとして、既に 2048 に増やしてあると。

で、もっと増やす必要がありそうと。

/usr/src/sys/amd64/amd64/pmap.c かな。

pmap.c は前にも読んでみた記憶があるソースだけど、
あとで改めて読んでみるか。
