IV. Workaround

No workaround is available.

V. Solution

Perform one of the following:

1) Upgrade your vulnerable system to 7-STABLE or 8-STABLE, or to the
RELENG_8_1, RELENG_8_0, RELENG_7_3, or RELENG_7_1 security branch dated
after the correction date.

2) To update your vulnerable system via a source code patch:

The following patches have been verified to apply to FreeBSD 7.1, 7.3,
8.0 and 8.1 systems.

a) Download the relevant patch from the location below, and verify the
detached PGP signature using your PGP utility.

# fetch http://security.FreeBSD.org/patches/SA-10:07/mbuf.patch
# fetch http://security.FreeBSD.org/patches/SA-10:07/mbuf.patch.asc

b) Apply the patch.

# cd /usr/src
# patch < /path/to/patch

c) Recompile your kernel as described in
<URL:http://www.FreeBSD.org/handbook/kernelconfig.html>; and reboot the
system.

3) To update your vulnerable system via a binary patch:

Systems running 7.1-RELEASE, 7.3-RELEASE, or 8.0-RELEASE on the i386 or
amd64 platforms can be updated via the freebsd-update(8) utility:

# freebsd-update fetch
# freebsd-update install

Now reboot the system.

というわけで（？）、tokiは8.1Rが出るまで使わないほうがいい気がする
8.0R -> 8.1Rにバージョンアップするか、8.1Rでの手順を再確認するために再インストールするとか

今晩のｶﾞｯﾃﾝは「山登り疲労回復法」だってな。
（山登りの疲労を回復するのでは無くて、山登りによってそれまでの疲労を回復するらしい）

おいちゃんが実践してるのはもしやこれか。

Jim-san,

I received your email about the issue of upgrading of offlaw.cgi.

As you may know, the MARU-system has been upgraded
for preventing illegally generating of the session ID of MARU.

This affects the behavior of offlaw.cgi, for reading past log of 2ch.
Therefore, we already upgraded the offlaw.cgi of all 2ch servers,
including in the past log servers.

Surely, we know that the offlaw.cgi should be upgraded in bbspink, too.
And Fox-san already upgraded it in the live servers of bbspink,
qiufen, venus, set, babiru, and yomi, and these seem to work fine.

But as I wrote before, I can't login the pastlog servers of bbspink now.
I tried all patterns of passwords I used before,but all of them were
refused by system.

So, I can't have any priviledges for upgrading
offlaw.cgi at the pastlog servers of bbspink hosted by banana3001.

ports の perl のデフォルトバージョンは既に 5.10 になっていますので
toki.2ch.net では 5.10 を試してみてはどうでしょう。
8.1R の ports/packages もデフォルトは 5.10 ですし。

8.1Rからというか、そこにもあるように今年の2月5日から、
portsのPerlのデフォルトが変わってるようですね。

今後は5.10じゃないとコンパイルできないものとかが出て来ても
不思議ではない予感。

ちなみに最近の私が作っているroot権限ありサーバ
(だいたい今のheadline以降ぐらい)では、
Perlは5.10系を入れているです。

if you use windows as your desktop system, you can try to rescue your data using linux livecds (eg. ubuntu, knoppix or something else that contains ntfs-3g).

おでんは出汁や具材のローカルルールが雑煮並みに激しいから、他地域出身者と飲み食いするときには避けたほうがいいぞ

Fix for a panic when TX checksum offload is done and
a packet has only a header in the first mbuf, the
checksum code will dereference a pointer into the
non-existing IP header. Do a check for the size and
pullup if needed. Thanks to Michael Tuexen for this
fix.

MFC: asap - should be in 8.1 IMHO

最近の攻撃は複数のIPアドレスにまとめてパケットを送りつける攻撃が主流だからyutori7だけ落としても意味ないらしい

なんかwwwの話題が出てくるとvipを見ているような気分なのは私だけだろうか、、、

しかしtsushimaもE9変な動きしだしたなぁ、yutoriと同じだ。
G2だと下がるとき挙動不審になるのかしら？

gimpoに至っては76かぁ、systemまでも下がってら；
2ヵ月で15だと、もってあと7〜8ヵ月の寿命かー

E9を使い切った後150TBぐらい書き込んでまだ平気みたいだけど
