I have secured the 2ch servers. The previous management was not able to generate
enough income to pay the bills for the expenses of running 2ch.
Previously I allowed some autonomy to them. During that time my name has been slandered.

However her Japanese is not much better
than myself. I thought it important enough

That is very common law. Use without
permission is not allowed by common law.
Commercial use should not be allowed without
permission.
そこでコモン・ローですよ（著作権法の間違い？アメリカでも日本の法体系でも）
許諾なしでの利用は法律で禁じられてます
２ちゃんのレスの商用利用は許諾なしでは許されません

There is something called "Fair use."
Would not that apply to ordinary people
(not nerds)?
フェア・ユースという概念があります

for commercial use should pay.
The past logs will be made free. That
should be a good solution. When there
is money, I do intend to go after logsoku.

This Affinia is a commercial enterprise.
I still have never seen their webpages.
Yesterday is the first time I heard of them.
The last time I saw Hiroyuki we talked
about the matome. Our talk had nothing
to do with commercial enterprises. His
words were high school girls and boys
making blogs including that stuff for their friends.
It had nothing to do with commercialism.
Probably that is what he is saying there.
Fake matome sites generated by an algorithm
for commercial SEO purposes would of
course not be included in that.

そのときは、商用利用については触れなかったな

当時商用利用があるとは思わなかったなぁ
ひろゆきの言ってたこと（ネットはもちつもたれつだから転載制限はしない）ってのは、そういう
個人サイトのことで商用利用は念頭に置いてなかったと思うわ、たぶんね。
SEO対策のアルゴリズムまでぶちこんでる商用まとめサイトは「もちつもたれつ」の範囲外だわ

２ｃｈまとめ本を出版する際の権利の問題も有ったし。
２ｃｈを転載禁止にするならすれば良いけど、じゃあ、他所から転載する行為はどうするの？

板の数減らして鯖代減らす案は出てないの？
今のままじゃ資金云々よりjimsanの管理能力が問題だと思うし
仮に2chが存続したとして今まで削ジェンヌが引き受けてたことをあちこちで分散させるより
管理する範囲を狭くすればいいと思うけど

of boards will not reduce the fixed costs.
We are already at the lowest possible cost.

ほとんど固定費なんだ　(´・ω・`)
だから、板減らしても経費節減にはならないんよ
可能な経費節減（レイオフなど）は全部やっちゃったし
