I think in such cases, Jim-san could email the reporter to stop and go to editorialplus,
and if s/he still doesn't then you may stop her/his CAP till the talk ends.
This procedure can generally be used in possible cases in the future
with least burden for you, hopefully.　Your least intervention is needed to make the autonomy work.
